INDEED!! 
Which is one reason why The GORE's post-Katrina prediction about hurricanes is so completely wrong.
Could it be happening? Could a "global warmer" be openly questioning a dogma of The GORE? Could the light of common sense is starting to dawn?

nothing moves in a steady upward progression
like the huyrricanes -- there've been fewer os those since the peak year, but they still are high.
one year means nothing -- but the trend of several years.
