An intriguing and wonderful poem...emotions should always be freely expressed and welcomed, I agree.

Venting brings peace eventually.

I have recently come to realize the truth in what you are saying. Your poem is very welcome in my guest house.

Snow
I like the idea of treating each emotion – even sorrow – as a guest in our guesthouse. The reality is if we try to dodge or deny the negative emotions they only become bigger than life. Might as well invite them in and meet or face them head-on.

Superb choice my friend!
An excellent lesson therein and much food for thought even though I am a little biased - I love Rumi! Many blessings and thanks for sharing this gem of a poem

Nita, welcome back
This is one poem I was overjoyed to read. Fantastic! So very educative, serene and profound, bordering on the spiritual. The Sufis, addressing God as
yaar, friend ... even the most unlettered, would speak words in poetry that goes straight into the heart. With your permission, I would like to keep a copy of this. Thank you for bringing it to us.
