Nite Tide
Nite Tide, cause and effect, 'as you sow, so also shall you reap', action / consequence is (i say 'is', i don't say 'are' because they are all the same law) a 'law' of the universe, like all physical laws, having equally applicability everywhere and everywhen. It is woven into the texture of reality. There is no place that one can go to escape the operation of the law. When people think of Newton's 3rd law (for every action, an equal and opposite reaction) they think 'yes, of course, it is true everywhere' but, they think that somehow human behavior is not similarly governed. Our vision is too short. When we see 'miscarriages' of justice, people getting away with things, people getting 'punished' 'unjustly', we are only seeing the tip of the proverbial iceberg. Our vision does not extend to everything that came before (the person's past) or everything that is to come. It all happens for reason. One cannot account for everything that happens / doesn't happen to her by looking to this lifetime alone. The unverse is always seeking balance. Always. It is always leveling out that which has become polarized, distorted. Yes, when the next leaf falls from the banyan tree, signaling the end of one life and the beginning of another. Yes, in the next life. Moon
