C'mon, Xenox, you've been reading me long enough to know that I have "viable alternatives." The chief among them is - say it with me - THE FREE MARKET. The Big Three got themselves into this mess by caving to the unions at every turn, and the government made matters worse by shackling them with so many regulations, lawsuits and standards that what little competitiveness remained was strangled out of them.
