Oh Nita! I am so full! lol That was so very interesting! I remember reading on the Egyptians that there was sand in the bread and it caused their teeth to grind down! Have a great week! Shelly

Once again a delightful article Nita. With all that talk about food, I'm getting hungry! Glad you include toad in the hole as one of the examples of exotic food. My grandchildren love seaweed; the type used for making sushi at least. The BBC had a documentary recently about 'food in the danger zone'; even rats get served up in some places, it seems.
