WIngs, that logic just doesn't work
"The Bible says that the Bible is the inspired word of God and so it must be the inspired word of God because it says it is."

I can say that I am the richest women in the world, but hat would not make me rich or female.  Such circular logic prove nothing at all.

So tell me what your conclusion are and where you got them from.

You said in another comment to me "I'm open minded too kooka, but only to things of the Bible." So somehow you take your information ONLY from the Bible, yet you do not make your conclusions based off of what the Bible says?  You really live in an interestingly confusing world.

Re: Wings

I never said that the Bible was my conclusion Kooka, stop with the twisting already.

And God said the Bible was inpired in the Bible itself Kooka. "The Word was(and is) God".

I understand your belief and I understand where you come from.
When we speak of days in Genesis, it wasn't until the fourth day that the stars and planets came into being to mark days and months and seasons.

so the first three days might possibly have been of any length.

Wings
Obviously you are getting too excited here. I'm gonna let thsi one go because now we are entering an area that could only become insulting because it is all abotu personal faith.  I already understand you have no respect for my beliefs and values, so it is pointless to try and get you to understand how respect works.

Although I will ask who told you that the Bible was inspired?  I am willing to bet that you did not wake up one day and just know that.  You want to say it was not research but instead given to man by God, t is still something that someone else wrote, not you.  So anything that is in the Bible is NOT your own original conclusion.  It is no different from someone such as myself, looking to science for the answers.  So to mock how I came by my beliefs and understanding is hypocritical of you, unless you wish to claim that God himself came to you and has told you all this himself.

Re: Wings, no one told you about God?
You are wrong kooka, I DO know He exist because He lives in my heart. And the Bible is a book inspired by God, He used man to write it, it's not research. IN THE BEGINNING THE WORD WAS WITH GOD AND THE WORD WAS GOD.

Wings, no one told you about God?
Everything you know about God and the Bible just came to you one day? You never once read something someone else wrote about God (Oh wait, that would men you've never read the Bible, since that was someone else's research on God) or gone to church and listened to someone tell you what they believe about God?  Please don't try to use such easy to prove hypocrisy against me.  Your ideas are just as much not truly your own as mine.  Any research you could have possibly done would have been to look at other people's beliefs and ideas.

I've done my own research on both religion and science and I follow what makes the more sense.

Sorry, but just because you can 'Feel God in your heart' does not constitute proof.

See, you lack discernment, you won't understand even when I explain it to you, because you don't want to understand.

Re: No Wings, I have scientific evidence.
You see, I have proof of God because He lives in my heart, I have been saved, so therefore I have proof. You on the other hand claim evolution and the big bang because of what some one else told you or what you have researched from someone else's research of science, you didn't come to believe this on your own. You did not do this study to come to a theory-based conclusion.

No Wings, I have scientific evidence.
There is a lot of real, provable science out there that if one studies it it very much backs up the concepts of evolution and the Big Bang.  Evolution is practically as easy to prove now days as what force create wind.

Re: Wings

Kooka,

the only thing you have to back YOU up is your theories. I have the LIVING GOD to back me, and that's enough.

Wings
You have no evidence at all to back up your claims.  You may believe this to be true, but you cannot prove it to be.  Please stop trying to make such outrageous absolutes with nothing of substance to back you up.

Due to the actual nature of science, saying 'it is in the Bible' proves NOTHING.

Re: Wings, that is really simplifying it all

Evolution and the Big Bang Theories are related kooka, they are both FALSE.

If scientist would read Gen. 1:1, they would have actual proof, and not a theory.

Wings, that is really simplifying it all
The Earth was not 'kaboomed' into existence.  The universe was, but the earth took millions of years to form from the cloud of gases that formed our galaxy.  How is this ignorant?  How does it lack all sense?  There is accurate science that backs up these theories.  We can do actual experiments and studies to see this ideas can work and make the most sense.

And then how is the idea of the Big Bang man taking credit for anything?  That remark made no sens what-so-ever.  Now scientists do not believe they have all the answers, but they are trying to find all the answers.  And is would seem you think you have all the answers yourself, since you clearly believe you know more than anyone who does not share your beliefs.

And then how are you linking the Big Bang with evolution? There are two different and unrelated scientific concepts.  The only real link between them is that both are based on provable scientific principles and not unprovable, out dated religious ideas.

Evolution is still happening, it is just a long process. Also not all animals evolve.

Please in the future go and do some actual studying on the ideas you wish to attack.  It is clear that you do not understand Evolution or the Big Bang theory, yet you so righteously wish to criticism them.
