Raphael, I appreciate your comment so very much. However, I am passionate about politics and religion. My strong opinions are who I am and I will never stop expressing those opinions. They are strong and many do not agree with them however they should. I am a common man. I believe in God and the Bible. Working for peace is great! I am all for it! However, i do believe God gave me a backbone and I will stand for what I am all about and I will defend my beliefs to the end by whatever means possible. I do not waiver. You know exactly where I stand on every issue. I can not imagine how so many people out there today do not stand for anything at all. I will not calm down. I will proclaim God's word and my beliefs until the end. I am not into worrying about offending others when I speak the turth. That is not real life nor has it ever been. I wish life could be as you desire but it is not. I will go down fighting but I will fight to the end.

Justi- The needling does not get to me. I am just trying to hold my peace in front of a burning well fueled desire to stand for what is right!

Luv ya Justi bama girl!

Hi
"You can slice it, you can dice it, you can repackage it, whatever you want to do with it but still is adultery, swinging, bi-sexuality, homosexuality, immoral behavior, etc."

I understand where you are coming from. I should just like to suggest that while your strong opinions are reasonable to expound in our free society, it does not mean that they are any more ''correct" than other people's strong opinions on the other side.

I believe as Christians we need to be true to the wisdom we have received but we also need to be actively working for peace and reconciliation and that means, partly, humbly accepting that our own thoughts are neither better, more correct or worthier than other peoples.

Can't we all calm down?

Peace + in Christ,

Raphael

Don't let the needling get to you. You have been reading the Bible all your life you can take it as it is not as peddled by unknowns. Be blessed.

Re: Re: Re: Re: SO ABRAHAM WAS GUILTY OF SIN?

Yes, Abraham was technically guilty of sin. Sarah became impatient then gave Hagar to Abraham, this was the custom of that day. God did not ordain this action as you desire to balme him for this act. Once again, it was man that committed this act. As a result of this you have Muslim versus Christianity. the Muslim religion derived from Ishmael so you can clearly see that triad or any other type of marriage outside that of a man or woman is WRONG!

You seem to forget what is man's sin and you are spinning it to be okay by God. That is not ture and is a mistake!

Re: Re: SO ABRAHAM WAS GUILTY OF SIN?
no spin

Abraham had Sarah and then the servant woman who bore Ishmael.

Jacob had several wives -- without those several wives, Israel would not exist basically, the twelve sons.

David had several women also.

And Solomon was well known for the enormous harem he had.

An interesting variation of the old practice by Mormons and hippies in communes. Everybody can learn from their other one: love. Similarly to the all knowing narrator in my fiction voyeurism watches everybody. In this way the greatest thing that I write is love. You cited your information and sources well.  Yours truly, Your Friendly Neighborhood BCA, Bill:JRoost
