It is a nasty world out there, full of spamming pinheads. One of the things I like about Blogit is that there are in fact administrators barring the doors, sweeping out the garbage and keeping a handle on things. As you know, I attempt to see both sides of the issue you have just experienced. I've also been a member of a number of forums, some where moderators attempt to impose their will, this site is as even handed as I have seen in disciplinary action.

Once the quality businesses begin moving from the urban center, subsequently taking their quality people with them, only the panhandlers and derelicts are left wandering the streets of the city. They were always there but their presence was not as obvious because they were obscured by the quality people, there was simply more variety. Once the urban center becomes known for being a refuge for derelicts etc., more of the same ilk feel comfortable setting up camp there. Even though collectively they may number less than in the past, on a percentage basis they begin to dominate the demographic. . . . . my little metaphor is just another way of saying we are knee deep in knuckleheads.

if you do. I mean really, without you and a few like-minded others this place will go very dark. True, there's a disturbance in the force, but the dark side will not overwhelm if reason and rational thinking hang on to their light sabers and keep swinging.

Xeno-x - Normally I would agree with that, the conflicts in the past have been quite often entertaining but this time around it is a little different. With smaller membership numbers than in years past, it only takes a handful of religious loonies to give the impression that there are very few rational people on this site.

Seriously, the proof you offer is: HERE . . . it is a pathetic piece of journalism, which should have clued you into the fact that the story is at best unreliable. The use of the word "lefties" etc., which would never appear in a legitimate news outlet, should also have clued you in but . . .
It is also a far cry from the lies you posted previously about "sex acts" at the front of the church. I also got a laugh out of your suggestion that all gay people carry STD's.
If you want a real summary of what seemed to take place in Michigan, I'll be happy to provide it: Gay activists got fed up with the antics of religious retards in their community and decided to give them a taste of their own medicine. Where most people would not condone such actions, a thinking person cannot help but harbor some sympathy with a group that is continuously targeted by certain Christian sects.
