I agree with this powerful commentary, and might add that...
no scriptures contain "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth", and that's why it's true that "and so help us God". In all fairness though, all scriptures contain some truth as well as wisdom; focusing on them & learning from them is a far more productive endeavor than claiming to be the only true possessor of The truth, and others be damned. That kinda attitude is stupid at best and lunatic at worst. Btw Gome, upon research / reflection you'll find that such attitude is prevalent in the fundamentalists of almost every religion, whereas the moderates have a much more balanced, accepting view.
