we are just dust to be thrown in hell then -- nothing else. God has offered his grace to only a small segment of society --and that only in the past 200 years.

"Ye are gods" refers to Hebrew judges who interpret God's Law and justice. His point is not to deny deity, but to deny that He had said anything that could be construed as the crime of blasphemy that He had been accused of. He was also demonstrating His superior knowledge of the Scripture to them, because He IS the Word.
There is only ONE God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit...and they are ONE. My preacher uses the illustration of snow, ice, and water, the point is that they are all in different forms, but still the same thing.
