What a fine selfless blessing to the world she was, so giving and kind. When or if I visit India this will be the place I would love to visit first. Such a humbling experience it would be...so glad you shared your story Snowview.

WOW!
Thank you Nita for personally sharing your trip and describing what you saw and experienced. I would love to visit there myself but that may never be possible. You have brought the experience to life with your writing. Thanks my friend! Have a wonderful Mother's Day on Sunday!!

Nita, this is a wonderful account of your visit. Your description of the scene is very vivid. Although I've been to Calcutta twice and stayed nearby I never visited it. All the best and wishing you a restful weekend.
