Well I hate to disagree with the others but I thought Dave was just plain rude... That was cruel... Poor Richard... I tell you if Richard needed help to get back at him I would be willing... Humor that humilliates is not nice... though Richard took it and handled it very well.

I Love letterman, and I like Richard, too.
I think Richard gets a lot of flack coz he's so out there, but he has helped so many people, and he is a good person. Letterman is always funny !

Perhaps, I took this too seriosly but I felt Richard was there to promote his steamer and did not enjoy any of Letterman's interview or actions.
