Cute blaskar. Again I don't care what SHAW says. You should keep your nose out of everyone else's books,  and read the only one that matters...the Bible. Perhaps then you could learn something meaningful, and that would save your soul from Hell. SHAW isn't going to do that.

And believing in your stupid dream, has nothing to do with my salvation. Your "dream" shows just how messed up your brain really is. Joseph Smith, the Mormon, had a dream to, and he is in Hell as we speak. He was also a false prophet, and many other things that would take to long to write about.

PS, I directed no lightning bolts toward you. And your problem IS your "broad-mindedness", you believe everything except the TRUTH.

Hehe, wonder whether you'll be able to detect any of mine (as you say) minute spelling mistakes, because a glaring mistake maker is as good as uneducated. Did I not earlier quote GB Shaw about the Bible educated being lunatics? Hahahaha, if you do not believe my Jesus dream, then you don't believe Jesus Himself. BEWARE, daughter(s)  of  g o D, (is there any

such term in the Bible?) of the sacrilege you commit against Christ. But I'll still tell Jesus not to direct his lightning bolts towards you, as you have wished them towards me. I am  broad-minded you see HahaHahaHHHAAAA.

Re: Re: Re: ONWINGSOF- - - - Hahahahaha Blaskar, I love that name
The reason you dont like my blog is because you are to ignorant to understand it. And dont get me started on all of YOUR spelling mishaps. They are to minute to point out, so I didn't. It takes a true childish way of thinking to point out a typo. Do you not have a life to worry about, perhaps you need a new hobby. Furthermore, the only time Jesus will be speaking to you is when He invites you to repent and be saved. But perhaps He has already convicted you, and you refused. Maybe you have gone to far already. The Devil is whose voice rings loud and clear in your head. You are doing a very good job of serving him too by the way. Perhaps the next time you dream, you'll dream of Hell.

Re: Re: ONWINGSOF- - - - Hahahahaha Blaskar, I love that name

After telling you that this was the most unintelligent blog I have read until now, I took a nap in the afternoon and dreamt that I was in Heaven with Jesus Himself, and we laughed at Jewish Nicodemuses of the world of hate peddlars. When I was about to ask something he stopped me having understood what I wanted to ask. He said: Bhaskar use your tongue well to chastise unchristian witches. Shocked with a start, I woke up, and opened your blog to see you telling me to consider biting my tongue. Now tell me who do I listen to, you or your Lord? Enlightening and not lightning has come to me. And please check your spellings too.  'Lightening' is a stage in pregnancy when the fetal head is descending into the pelvic region of a would-be mother, and I am a man

BLASKAR, I SUGGEST YOU READ PREACHER43's LATEST POST ON HELL!!!

You have prophesied nothing, and from the comments I have received from my christian friends here, they do agree with me!

I also suggest you read my latest blog on Hell too. My blog only gives scripture to back it up.

Be careful what you say blaskar, the Bible say "It is better for a millstone to be tied about you neck, than to offend on of Gods children". So Ill make a prediction based on that verse. You better be careful what you say to the children of God-you may find a bid lightening bolt headed your way sometime soon! And that "lightening bolt" can be in the form of anything. You might want to considrer biting your tounge!

onwingsoflove or onwingsofhate?

Just look how you are wallowing and squirming in the very dirt of your own making through advancing the name of Jesus. Since Jesus himself must not have liked it, it seems that even God has forsaken you just as I predicted in your other blog that He will. But you wouldn't listen. Another prediction I made was that you will shy away the very people you are trying to feed your convoluted ideas to . I can already see that happening. Not one Christian believes what you want to make them believe. They are intelligent and can discern, you can't. Your's is the most unintelligent blog I have ever seen. I wonder where are the Bible Thumpers gone who thump in your support! Have they forsaken you? Now, will you call them too, hypocrites?

Re:

Thanks for your comment. But the ONLY way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ, God's Son. He does love everyone, "He died for us while we were yet sinners". He has given and will give, everyone a chance to be saved. However, if one refuses to accept the Lord, I'm afraid they won't make it to  Heaven.

Baptism DOES NOT save anyone, we are supposed to be baptized after we are saved, to show that the "old man" is passed away. It is to show that the "old man" is buried and the new spiritual new creature in Christ is risen with Him. Water does not wash away sins, Jesus blood does.

And regarding your question on "what happened to people before Christ died for their sins?", I have a very good sermon on that, preached by a very intelligent man, and if I can figure out how to download it on to blogit, I would love for you to hear it. It would surley answer you question on that subject...thanks again for your comment.

So much anger. Christ had anger, but never did he have so much disdain for the people he was talking to. I have read many times the word of God. Many interpretations. What happened, pray tell, to all the people before Christ died for their sins.Judged on their "merit" no one would enter your Heaven.  Christ never said anything about starting a religion. He showed by example. He lived a life of love. I believe he said "judge not lest ye be judged" I know that you maintain you are not judging just passing on. I get that. I too grew up in a religion that said it was my responsibility to show the "right way".  Missionaries and rebirth. What about the Christian religions that don't agree on how that is to be done? I have been dunked. Am I a shoe in over someone sprinkled? It isn't my brain that tells me God is more than the small petty thing you limit him too. It is my soul, my heart, my love. I love my God. I love my fellow man. God is limitless. You get what you believe in. My God is able to love everyone regardless. I am so thankful for my God. I know that he loves you too. I am glad for that too. There are many "inspired scriptures". Many much older than the Bible. My God has the power to inspire many people. He has been misunderstood and misquoted, but he is still capable of unconditionally loving all of his creation. I am sorry i should not have made this so long in a comment, but my heart hurt so after reading i couldn't stop. Thank you to all who commented on the side of tolerance and love. I am so thankful for all of you.

I believe you are speaking the truth as you know it and as you believe it to be.  You cannot, however, escape the reality that many of us live not with a twisted version of the truth but a different, expanded, or broader vision of spiritual truths.  This does not make one person wrong and another right and it most certainly does not “rubber stamp” someone as destined for hell.  Philosophical reflection concerning heaven and hell is the focus of such doctrines in the great monotheistic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam; each religion believing in God but necessarily in Jesus as being the son of God.  For some (Hindus) it is a metaphor for a conscience.  It is different things for different people/religions and as such so is the journey to avoid it or the doctrines one must live by to fulfill a “heavenly” ending.  To paint the world solely with one brush and one brush only, is extremely narrow minded.  I'm outta here....

but at the same time, I respect what you  yourself believe.

But I feel I should point out what I perceive to be misconceptions.

You can believe in a big house if you want -- maybe even a feudal, lordly castle with lots of rooms -- like medieval kings.

But I see a more all-encompassing theme:  the "household" of God; that is, the family, if you will, is infinite, if you will -- and there is infinite room there.

Re: many mansions

"Jhn 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

The basic Catholic, medieval, King Jamesish interpretation of this is that there is a huge house in heaven full of huge mansions for the righteous.  In comments in the previous post, I demonstrated how King James did indeed interpret this passage rather than accepting and translating it in the manner intended.  The 16th Century Anglicans, believing in the millennium and a half old idea of Heaven and Hell (taken from Greek Mythology), decided on this interpretation.

If you look up the lexicon meaning of "House", as in "my Father's house", you will come up with:

HOUSE:

1) a house

a) an inhabited edifice, a dwelling

b) the inmates of a house, the family

c) property, wealth, goods

or

G3614 oikia oi-kē'-ä house, at home, household, from the house

And if you look up the lexicon meaning of the word, "mansion" in this passage, you will come up with:

mansion -- Gr. meaning

1) a staying, abiding, dwelling, abode

2) to make an (one's) abode

3) metaph. of the God the Holy Spirit indwelling believers

I think the idea of abiding in a household would be a bettering rendering of what is happening here, and I have concluded that a better rendering of this is:

"There is plenty of room in my Father's household.

This is the only instance of anything being cast into the Bottomless Pit.  There is no other in the entirety of the Bible.  If there is, show us the chapter and verse.

Shelly,

I'm not telling anyone where they WILL go. I'm telling them where they will go IF they are not born again. The same thing the Bible tells them.

And everyone can believe what they want to, and I'm sure they will, BUT what someone "believes" and what the Bible says, are 2 totally different things. Thats why only a few people are going to make it to Heaven and most are going to Hell, because they choose to see things their way instead of Gods way.

I do respect others, I'm telling them the truth, would you rather me lie to them?

There are infact many different groups such as the ones you have mentioned, BUT, unless they are born again, they'll not be in those mansions.

Furthermore, they would no longer call themselves pagans, or hindu, or atheist, if they had been born again, they would be Christians meaning Christ-like.

Re: troosha's comment...

Being born again IS fire insurance indeed. Because if you are NOT born again, you will go to Hell, plain and simple.

And furthermore, if we could get to Heaven on "good works" alone, then why did Jesus die? Scripture says "You are saved by grace through faith, and that NOT of yourselves, it is the gift of God, NOT of works, lest any man should boast."

You'll never make it to Heaven on "good works" YOU MUST BE SAVED. So "YES" if these "other religions" do NOT believe they must be born again, then they WILL go to Hell no matter how good their morals are.

You said that "They/we all believe in the same God", thats NOT true. Not everyone believes in THE GOD, but most believe in "a god". There is a HUGE difference.

It is naïve to think that being a Christian (or being born-again) is about jumping out of the line going to hell and jumping into the line going to Heaven.  Christianity should not be seen as fire insurance(from Hell), because in viewing it this way, one day you might forget to pay your premium or simply ignore it because you no longer consider it essential.  It’s all in how we live our lives Funny how I’ve never heard a Jew, a Hindu, or a Buddhist, say “you’re going to hell if you don’t believe in God”.  They/we all believe in the same omnipresent God but they’re not screaming.  And are you suggesting people of other religions are doomed for hell even though they are living honourable, fruitful, and faith-based lives?

I just gave you a verse to read. And ALL SCRIPTURE WAS INSPIRED BY GOD, WRITTEN THROUGH MAN. Just because it's not in red lettering does not mean you can dismiss it from the Bible. It was told BY GOD for certain men to write what makes up the books of the Bible. You either believe it ALL, or you don't believe any of it. From all of the questions you ask, it doesn't appear like you know much about the Bible at all.

To answer your question about "fear what?" FEAR GOD. It is quite simple.

Re: Re: Re: ota's comment...

First,

While I gather up the verses regarding Hell, Here's one about REBUKING to tide you over:

1 Timothy 5:20-"THEM THAT SIN, REBUKE THEM BEFORE ALL THAT OTHERS MAY ALSO FEAR." KJV

The Lord makes plenty of distinctions between the saved and unsaved, saved people are going to Heaven the UNSAVED are NOT. If you'd like some verses for that, I can add those as well.

Furthermore, if you are born-again as you claim, you should know what it means. It is a re-birth of the soul. When the Holy Spirt convicts someone of their sins, and they accept and repent of them, they are then born again, and they are NOT saved until that repentance takes place.

Re: Re: ota's comment...

Where/ when does Jesus tell you to rebuke sin?

Whose sin are you rebuking?

What sin are you rebuking?

Where does Jesus describe hell?

Jesus asked us to love. He very directly asked us to love everyone. He made no distinctions between those of faith and unfaith.

Please define "born again" if you will, perhaps we have VERY different understandings of those words.

I can not begin to type the number of things I take issue with on your version of christianity. It takes no back bone to stand in judgement of someone else's faith or unfaith.

So for me to tell him that if he is not born again he will go to Hell is nothing but truth straight from the Bible. Jesus taught the same thing. Not many people have backbone these days, and I myself refuse to beat around the bush. We are commanded to REBUKE sin, and I find that in the Bible I read. I have not scared anyone. What I said about Hell IS IN THE BIBLE ITSELF. And Jesus Himself paints a pretty grim picture of what Hell will be like. The things I said are NOT made up-it's in the Bible. So I suppose then that Jesus is using scare tactics too.

I have followed your blogs and comments to bloggers for a while now. It is very difficult for me to read your blogs because they are filled with such anger and judgement of mankind. You call yourself a christian. Does Jesus know that you are sending people to hell for him? I mean that sincerely. Has He  (Jesus) asked you to tell people they are unworthy of anything more than love from you? Where / when did He (Jesus)ask you to you to scare them with visions of ever lasting torture? I don't see anyone turning to faith with scare tactics personally, but may be you know something I do not.

We are asked to love GOD and to love each other in the Bible that I read. Love is for everyone. Turn the other cheek, forgive 70 times 7, and what so ever you do unto others ~you do unto  me (Jesus). Anything you do with out Love is but a noisy gong.

I wish you Peace

I wish you Light

I wish you Hope

I wish you Love

Worrying about judgment day rather than concerning ourselves with how we live our lives to the best of our ability – with tolerance, compassion, and love – is far more productive than living in fear of our final day.  Suggesting to someone that you and that big brain of yours will burn forever doesn’t seem a very Christian statement.  It sounds spiteful and hateful to me.
