Very sweet cadence, Maria, and Deepak Chopra's saying is exhorting one to be like the eye of the storm, which is always still

Oh, I can feel the inspiration and, yes, that's right, this poem reads like a song.

This poem is great!
I felt the music in this poem...the Music of the Night....
More than that, Deepak Chopra, to me, is the greatest man I have ever had the privilege to briefly meet once. I have read his books many times over....so trust me, I know where you are coming from....the still, peaceful center in the midst of the chaos.
Finally: Your lines, "On a night like tonight..." together with your word pictures and repetitions..of your inspiration, I could hear quite clearly the song from Evita sung by the man that takes her to Buenos Aires and seduces her. I think it is a tango.
Your poem is full of light, color and music ---- it makes me want to paint a picture!
(If you haven't seen the movie Evita wth Madonna and Antonio Banderas, do rent it.
It is awesome, gripping...a rock opera at its very best..it leaves you breathless!)
Just like your poem does!
Brilliant!
