I think I mentioned that a couple times -- boiled down to its lowest common denominator, most Christians would be ruled by a religion that they would certainly disagree with.

To make the assumption that they themselves would fare well in a society with an official state religion, it is obvious that these people are incapable of thinking the realities through to a probable conclusion. The number one reality is that the single largest religious group in the USA today is still the catholics. I would suggest that anyone wanting to have their country take this monumental step backwards had better start practicing their Latin.
