You're more courageous than me.

I've got to go to New York in about 6 weeks, and I'm HOPING that the swine flu thing will be over by then. I, personally, don't look forward to being in a huge crowd of people if it hasn't been contained by then!!

You know, I'm not in NYC, but I have not yet seen anyone with a protection mask.
(of course, I haven't been in any hospitals or on any airplanes).  People just seem to be going about their own daily business.  I think that's good.  I can't imagine wearing a mask.  As a nurse I had to for sterile procedures and my glasses always fogged up.  I hated that.

Heck yeah!  If that "swine" flu is gonna come, let it come.  For now, I'm living my life like it didn't exist, because what kind of life would we lead if we always lived in fear and anxiety?  Wise words shelly b!

SBG, Good for you!

The media always plays things up bigger than what it actually is.  I cannot stand to have a mask over any part of my face, and I am certainly not going to build a bridge before I need it. I have always wanted to go to the Big Apple and perhaps I will before I expire.  If it appears that I may be stricken by a flying pig, I may expidite the trip. lol  Have a great week!
