I have been trying to get America to begin a Boy's Day and a Girl's Day
as we have no rites of passage anymore in this increasingly secular society.

Bar Mitzvahs and Quinceaneras aside, there is little to celebrate children and they should be celebrated as they are so much fun in this increasingly boring, boorish and serious society.

I shall write my Congress person.

That's interesting.  If we had such a thing as boys' day, I would have made a big deal out of it just to let my four sons and my eight grandsons know how special I think they are.
