Yes. ., even though I'm not totally old yet (lol). . ,
the older I DO get, the more I care less.  This writer is very correct in that aging is very liberating.  Thanks for sharing this, Krisles.  I enjoyed it A LOT.

You might find yourself in cement shoes at the bottom of the river if you can’t pay back the money to pay the geiko each month for insurance. Great poem. BCA, Bill*s Roost

When you have become your own best friend, Krisles, there is nothing in the world that can ever stand in the way of your happiness. WOW, isn't that great

Good for you!!!  I totally agree that the one and only perk of old age is that we can do what we want when we want and not have to appologize for doing it!  as long as we don't hurt anyone  ...  What the heck!   and on the same breath I tell you that there is nothing wrong for those of us that want to have plastic surgery or dye their hair ... if that is what they want they should have it too... You are like a breath of fresh air my friend and I will print out your poem and show it to my kids... ( Maybe then they will leave me alone!!!!)  loll  Great work!

I love the philosophy of this message. Life life large.......but, the part about eating desert every day? If only we could. Based on your previous post (high bp), you (and I) should pretend we never read that one. My bp was high (and my triglycerides). I started heavy duty meditation (took classes) and signed up for t'ai chi. Now, I'm off my meds..........(except for my anti-depressant)......lol
