Re:

Thanks,ZM. We all try to do our best, and constantly find ourselves looking back, thinking, what the hell was I thinking? You and me, and hopefully every other parent will contnue to keep up the good fight. Parenting never stops, even when they leave home. They'll always need our guidance, even when they say they don't want it :-)

Thanks for the comment. It's great to feel like I'm connecting.

Re:

Thanks for the encouragement. I only just stared this blog today. My girls are precious to me, they're beautiful and high spirited, but they also attrack a lot of attention. I try to build them up and make them as strong and as sensible as I can, because I know there are those out there that will try and take advantage of them.

Thanks again for your response.

These are good tips. I wish I had read more to my kids as they grew up. But, be forewarned.....as a parent, one can do EVERYTHING right and still have a kid who is troubled. It has been my experience that much of who they are is hard-wired into them via dna/genetics. good post.       ZM
