Self-realization / enlightenment is a process that...
everyone goes through, is unique to each individual, none being superior / inferior to another, and in fact is the very purpose of life, peace!

Soul_Builder101 - what utter drivel
As if there is anything worth knowing about a so called path; that is nothing more than a declaration of having some special insight that others lack and is rife with condemnation for those unwilling to support your delusions. I live in the real world . . you should try it sometime.

Those who don't travel the spiritual path cannot ever know that conciousness. You sit and do nothing but wish to be in the consciousness of those who try. Do you think that your measuring is not without flaw?

Raphael222 - Re: Spiritual People - first off; welcome to Blogit

I can't help but feel that you are using the term "spiritually gifted" or spirituality as a synonym for enlightenment. Where it can be synonymous, it is not necessarily so.

After saying that however, I completely agree; enlightenment has an inherent element of humility. A truly enlightened person woud not be trying to convince others that they are more perceptive than everyone else.

Spiritual People

"You are lacking perception, you are not as spiritually gifted as I am."

I have met many spiritually gifted people and I believe that not one of them would ever say such a thing. They would be the first to recognize that such a thought is contrary to the most fundamental understanding of true spirituality, which has an indispensable element of humility with it.

In my opinion.
