Thanks for the info on what really kills germs!  I don't know what to make of the swine flu, but I won't be going to Mexico anytime soon :) I'm sure it will just pass, from what I've heard it's not serious outside of Mexico. There have been a number of outbreaks, but all of them mild.

I must admit

it would not especially surprise me... there are too many who see the maintenance of their own power and privilege as the only goal worth pursuing ad who would not baulk at the stupidity that is viral warfare.

Of course in our overpopulated and poluted world there is also the chance of natural mutation, but the more cynical side of my nature wonders why so many of our recent disease outbreaks seem to appear in our food supplies
