At one of my favorite places...
The waitress has been known to sit down at the table with us to take out order, chatting like a long lost friend. Pretty unique and no, it is not a Denny's.

My daughter's boss at Appleby's...
...offers to fire someone whenever a customer gets unhappy. You would think the large turnover in personnnel caused by that would raise a few eyebrows in upper management.
I could never work in the food service industry...you're a better woman than I am! lol
