I've always kept credit cards (a few) but I have only used them for travel--air flight, hotels, car rental, and for convenience.  I have always paid credit card bills on time and in full.  If I don't have the money in the bank, I do without.   You might think that's a boring way to live, but it's not.  It's freedom.

Joe, it's never too late to start a debt reduction program...
and to stick to it through the inevitable highs & lows of life...Teaching our kids responsible money management is helping them build a solid foundation!

for the month mortgage.
