I like the way you put that "solutional change". Great post and discussion. They do the same thing here (FL), especially around hurricane season. They'll start doing the "This is only a test" thing every day.

You are correct with that. I hate that I am forced to watch things simply because they station the time on a set schedule for one population--the news freaks. They thrive on the news, most of which is made up of tidbits of gossip and serves no solutional change to problems in the world.

WHAT ANNOYS ME IS WHEN THE WEATHER MAN IS ALERTED
THAT A FRONT OF STORMS IS MOVING OUR WAY, THEN AS IF HE IS SUDDENLY THE STAR OF PRIMETIME TV, BEGINS CUTTING INTO THE STATIONS REPEATEDLY FOR HOURS BEFORE THE STORM HAS EVEN REACHED US.
