Re: Fifty or sixty years ago they advertised Maytag washers
Pat_B - why thank you. I'd be lying if I said that it was more by accident than design but I am still surprised at what some people spin into orbit about.

Fifty or sixty years ago they advertised Maytag washers
as having the world's best agitator. This was when you ran the washer for 20 minutes, ran the clothes through a wringer to rinse, then rinsed again in the next tub, and finally hung them on a line to dry.  But these days, Gome, your blogs put Maytag's claim of world's best agitator in distant second.

LonerGreen - first off; welcome to Blogit
It's funny how that happens. Most times my "honourable mention" is in less than a favorable light.

Soul_Builder101 - I would hope that any anymosity generated is due to more
than just the use of language.

Kabu - it's unfortunate that you do not feel completely comfortable

commenting here.

I don't bite - thanx for stopping in.

WileyJohn - I do a lot of recycling, rewriting and reworking of old posts
Interspersed with new posts, it gives the impression of being prolific but the truth be known, I'm in the same boat that you are. Somedays I stare at the screen with not a thought of what to write coming into my head.

preacher43 - in principle, no one can disagree with what you are saying
Most conflicts started on this site are childish in nature. It is a common human reaction when happening upon an opinion that one disagrees with to attack the author of that opinion. When all is said and done, none of us really knows anything beyond what we instinctively believe rendering all that we say pertaining to our beliefs as nothing more than our opinions.

Seems like even if you're not in a battle, people mention you during theirs.

Your use of language attracts great animosity. Sorry!

I'd pop in here more often if I thought it would interest you to have me
here but don't take offence. I mostly write nonsense these days, but I found your blog today a lot of fun.

I'm envious at how you keep right on posting when most of the time now I can't even think of what to write. Good for you and "May ya Be In Heaven a Half Hour before the Divil knows your dead."LOL

MY THOUGHT ON STARTING THINGS WITH OTHERS IS IT IS CHILDISH  AND THE ONE WHO STARTS IT MUST LIVE A AWFUL LIFE TO HAVE TO START TROUBLE WITH OTHERS SIR I MAY NOT BELIEVE THE SAME THINGS YOU DO BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE CAN NOT GET ALONG.
