i liked it! I don't believe I've ever seen a newt before, although plenty of tadpoles and lizards which are sort of similar.

Snowview, you do the same for me:
taking me to places I don't imagine I'll have the chance to visit.

Now that I got
MacBeth out of my mind, I watched it again. You did such a good job. I haven't seen many newts in my life. When I was little there was a Newt White in my mother's life before my dad and I always thought she was saying Nude White.

I just love your blog, and seeing places that I can't see in person; thanks very much! Thanks too for commenting on my post; I can see why you can identify with a "journeying God"! Nita.

LonerGreen, yes, McClane Creek is a wildlife refuge and trail system
near Olympia. I will see if I can get some more like this for you--glad you enjoyed it!

Loved it, every minute of it, everything in it. From the sound of the birds, the bubbles blowing, the dog whining, the other newt that swam up at the last second. More like this! Is McClane creek near Olympia, fellow Washingtonian?

You are right, Ciel. I came to read, and one of the first things I read (a comment) sent me off on a moody tangent. I think I'd better go away and come back later. LOL

Looks like that one has both of it's eyes. No hags using any parts of his body for their cauldron's potion yet. And, I'll bet Davy has all of his toes still too.
