Like Wiley I, too, also recall Ecole Polytechnique. And as Joe said... unfortunately it could very well happen again. I think as parents it is our moral duty to steer our children away from the violence of games, movies, the internet, etc. I was never exposed to such things as a kid but in this day and age our children are inundated with violence to the point where the line between right and wrong becomes blurred.

Good sentiment
as a father, to receive a 'phone call telling me something like that had happened would be almost too painful to bear - and probably still so for the bereaved after 10 long years?
