...in relation to God, the word "can't' and paradox...
...can God create a rock to big for him to move?
Any answer to that question involves the word "can't."

The Eternal Law is God's. That Law is not subject to change, unlike the law of physical sciences that we know of. God is not some bearded white-man sitting high over the skies and presiding over the affairs of humans. If that were to be so, then why does He not undo the wrongs that are going about for millennias, nor does God have any geographical location, except our own hearts. The substratum of Energy is what we call God, and Energy follows Immutable Laws, which is always without bias. That answers my question as to why He "can't". Perhaps I will be understood.

Bhaskar.ing, I can think of no reason at all why He would want to, but then, I do not know the mind of God. Declarations of "can't" from a human in regard to God are a bit ludicrous. Just because we don't see how he could doesn't mean he couldn't.

What reason do you think God can have to make darkness stand in front of light? I maintain, under no circumstances He can. I was only trying to make a point, and you take it seriously. Putting God in a box of my own making? If that were so, I would be the biggest idiot around here, fully acknowledged by others. No, you have not understood me at all.

Darkness does not flee; it cannot, it has no legs ... because, if it had, then darkness existed. Darkness is simply the absence of light, just as death is the absence of life. Ask yourself, does death exist? If the answer is in the affirmative, then what is life? It is a tautological question: Say yes, you are in trouble, say no, you are in trouble. I say this because both theist and atheist coexist and it is a fact, and it should. Let me tell you a story -
One day darkness went and complained to the creator that the sun is always after me, so you must stop him from chasing me out. It has made my living impossible. The creator called the sun and asked him as to why he was always after darkness? Sun said, well I don't even know. Bring him before me so that I can ask forgiveness of him. It is said that the case is pending till date, because it is not even in the power of God to make darkness stand before light.
