You have made my day, ginnieb. I read your article on your link and then went from one place of yours to another ending up on your photo page where I spent quite a bit of time. Your photos are fabulous and I have saved that site to my "Favorites" so that I can go to Scotland and Ireland (among other places) anytime I want to.

Hi .. It's so nice to read you again. When I was a child my memories are much the same as yours .. We played ping pong and Jacks for many hours. Your article about your sister is all about love and special times to remember.

ginnieb - It's so very nice to see you too!!!!!!!!!!!
Now. ., as far as the sounds go. ., you are dead on about the sound of plates. But, I can go one further for you. I'll always remember my mother cooking sauerkraut! Good god what a nasty smell! We'd be outside playing, and once a week. . , like clockwork. ., my mother would cook that crap! It would stink up the whole yard surrounding our house, and you knew you were having that stuff for dinner before you even opened the door to come inside! LOL
