Thanks for sharing this poem.  I've never read it before, but something tells me that it is a classic.  As for posting it hear on Blogit at this time, I think it is very relevant, which makes you selecting to share it quite brilliant.  Nice job!

this, along with the Apostle Paul's admonition to
1Th 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

tells us not to take things on "blind" faith, but that proving and testing and producing evidence gives strength and substance to faith.

I remember the story from a log time ago

I use it alot myself

and yes it tells us a lot about religon.

each sees a part of god and sees it as being just that part.

Hey there OTA,
I do like this poem alot, and it does have some truth to it for sure. But from a Christian point of view, I'll not forget that "Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen".Blessings.
