Who, me?

The paralysis actually is due to both major parties. That's why there is such an undercurrent among conservatives for a third party. My hope is that this doesn't take shape unless there is enough support to win elections, otherwise we'll divide the vote and the liberals will continue in power.

As for 1899 and TR: How about providing some documentation of that? If today's conservatives are advocating what Republicans did in 1899, then just maybe there is truth there that endures that long. If time automatically renders all principles and truths obsolete, then we should have tossed the Ten Commandments centuries ago; yet they are still followed.
