Re: "Dissension is the highest form of patroitism."..Thomas Jefferson..........
I apologize for my use of the terms, "ignorant" and "irresponsible." It's the use of such inflammatory words on blogit lately that's got my neck-up to begin with.
You have your reasons, and every right, to your perspective, as I do mine.
Mine have moderated over the years, so that, what I once thought irrefutable, I now see in a different light.
Blogit has become a war-zone lately, and needs calmer voices, even though the discussing of important issues is healthy...if done in a civil way and with a civil tone. I apologize for my contribution to the nastiness.

"Dissension is the highest form of patroitism."..Thomas Jefferson..........
When Bush was president, anyone who disagreed with his antics was labeled a traitor by the Republicans and their mouthpieces in the media. And such name-calling was appropriately called Traitor Baiting, because it leaves no room for discussion or a meeting of the minds...just the braying of asses, such as is the case with your ignorant and irresponsible rant, which, itself, borders on treason.
And by the way, it was the so called "Liberal Media" that relentlessly attacked Bill Clinton over the Monica Lewinski affair. So, you're attributing the focus on it to President Clinton is also ignorant and irresponsible.

Re: Mr. Obama showed you didn't he?
I did comment favorably     on this at http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/WriterofLight5678/606415. Now he has to finish the job and shut the pirates down for good. So far, nothing else has been done.

Re: Re: Your nationalistic chauvinism really shows here.
Welcome, calm cantey75!   That's me, all right - "national chauvinism!" I take that to be the hard way of saying patriotism.

Re: Balancing national & global interests is a...
Welcome, ash pradhan!   Absolutely right. I am in no way claiming that is easy, or even possible in every instance. But while there are a very limited number of ways to do it right, there are many in which to blow it, with catastrophic results. I hope and pray Obama does what is right, but fear that he won't.

Obama avoids the questions because....
he is ill-prepared to handle the problem. These ignorant people who speak against the United States should leave and go where things are more to their liking. My feelings won't be hurt if they leave yesterday! Thanks for this post!

Balancing national & global interests is a...
challenging necessity in the modern world, and cannot be ignored. But at the same time, illegal acts against anyone must be appropriately punished. Piracy is, has been, and always will be an illiegal act.

Your nationalistic chauvinism really shows here.
I guess you figure all countries in the world should bow down and worship our country.

the U.S. should not be held accountable to the international community and can do any damn  thing it pleases.

That is not a good citizen of this world, but rather a bully that throws its weight around to get its way.
