Thank you all for your general appreciation of this Ontario mayor. She is really the kind of politician we need. The other  kind  takes votes and donations....only to serve the lobbies. The software found in voting machines in some states can have 'backdoor' access. This was in the news not long ago. It means that the winners can be selected not elected. Its either that or a kind of mass hysteria is thrown on people to sway their preferences. All over the world, dishonest and corrupt people are in power, The few good ones deserve our support. Good post.

I agree with your opinions of most politicians, they are corrupt at best and hold the voters in contempt. It is good to see the ones that still care get a pat on the back.

That is really cool about that mayor. I hope though they have a solid replacement for her eventually or else it may be business as usual again.

I too hold great contempt for politicians, but you brought at least one in the world, that can be called, a shining light.
