Very good research. I watch the play of humanity at all times...especially on holidays!

Easter, at the end of the day, is about Christ. Informative post. Thanks.

I'm trying to remember how long it has been since I dyed an egg for Easter.   Your post makes me want to do it again even though my grandchildren are well past that stage (except for the littlest one in Florida).   But even without bunnies, and colorful eggs, it is Easter in my heart.

Snow

Believe or not, I actually knew most of these “nuggets” of info today… but the pretzel – that was definitely a new one to me!

Hello Nita. Much appreciated reseach you share. Happy Easter to you. I once was at an Easter service when the pastor mentioned that a Ukrainian tradition was to greet each other with the word"He is risen" and the reply being "He is risen INDEED!" I always think of that at this time.

I like your timely and informative posts, Nita. My younger son, had a poem Hot cross buns when he was in the KG, and he would pronounce it as "Os Toss Buns, One a penny, Two a penny, Os Toss Buns". You just reminded those days, and I couldn't understand a word of his recital his mother took so much pains to perfect. Those were my Easter days. I guess.

Hey Nita! I am going to go see a friend soon! It has been busy for me to get ready! I haven't had a vacation in 6 years, darn migraines, and I am going to achieve this one no matter what! I am praying that I can be migraine free for the visit! I am very optimistic for the Lord answers prayers! I am like a school girl with heightened enthusiasm! lol Shelly
