Someday oh someday people will see all these "things" don't make them
happy. Then they will look for truth.

Like you I feel there are many people that are not focusing on God during the here and now and only just think about going to heaven when they die, as if it is owed to them.

Well said Dave. You say things clearly and hopefully we will wake from this nightmare of materialism and progress in spirit. The power vested in us is to join in mind to affect our time with disclousure and stimulate intellect known as common sense which belongs to everyone as free choice. Our response as children of God the creator!

Trusting in God no matter what is what I want to do.

You know just how to say it!  God helps those that help themselves.

We had no idea what it would cost, the play now and pay later attitude. My thinking is that God will let it play itself out and the few left will have to start all over, i just wonder will it be a chosen few or survival of the fittest.

I look forward to all your posts, and this post seemed to sum it all up.  thanks

One possible answer, a possible brick out of the wall.

  Soulman,

I think that if our children were taught to respect their parents, and support them in their last years, things might start to improve, just a bit, for humanity. China accomplishes this, but they have fallen under the heel of totalitarian tyranny, so maybe this isn't an answer. I do know that government should stop trying to legislate human behavoir, this is doomed to failure. Morality can be taught. Values can be taught. Conscience is something that we are born with or not. If children are given values and caring instruction, early in life, many will become the kind of adults that can turn the world around. Some just won't have it in them. It has always been so, and always will.

Loved this one..."Did we depend on God for too long...to do things we could have done for ourselves? "  Wise and poignant question...
