I've had many stress related illnesses so I've learned alot about it. First of all, you usually have to change your entire lifestyle, from the way you think, act and react to common ordinary happenings to changing your diet and exercise habits. Having one glorious thing to look forward to each week helps but it isn't enough. Stress has antidotes. Music is one, laughter is the other. I would say sex is a third except that sometimes sex can actually be a cause of stress if you're doing it with someone you shouldn't or if you have performance anxieties. Let's just say that under the right circumstances and with the right person, a night or weekend with someone can be very relaxing. Hope this helps. My therapist has given me an article from the AMA that says that 20 minutes of exercise each day is equal to about 20 mg. of prozac. So run, jog, join a gym or do some aerobics in your own living room, but do try to exercise each day. Heck, see if you can find out where "Runs-at-Dawn" lives and join her.
