That statement proves so much. You are not quite there gome. If you think that education is the 'end all' then you are missing a lot. So you are saying your education has elevated you to this supreme level that you now have knowledge of everything and that through this education you have now derived that religion is just a myth? And that your constant daily attacks against Christians is valid in some form or another? Interesting how you gave Islam a free pass. Your game is old dude. Put the doobie down and live a few more years longer before that day you realize the truth. Do not consume your every day with this never ending dribble. Do it for yourself. I am a Christian but I do not dwell on it every second of the day. Were you reincarnated where you were really some terrible person in a past life and now it is your punishment to have to spew out this hatred for the reat of your days? There's another twist on religious beliefs, go chase it, catch it then play with that awhile, ok!

I agree, an individual's nurturing environment is the single biggest influence upon what they will believe . . . as for the voices, it's always a scary thought when the truly crazy hear approval and justification in their heads coming from the big guy.

It's the extremists, and every community has 'em,...
that make trouble for the rest...the answer is to reason & partner with the rationals / moderates, and again every communtiy has 'em, in all communities and help each community to grow & become rational from within. When one engages in extremist-bashing, one absolutely needs to make clear that one understands, accepts and welcomes the rational parts / views of the moderates in their community, the number of which is growing around the world.

i think most people the world over believe what their mommy and daddy taught them and never educate themselves any further. There is good not god, there is evil not the devil. Add a letter, take one away, we simply personify these concepts, that's all. As a former believer, i found out the hard way. "You are all gods", that's what Jesus said, at least that's what the Bible says. Wait, i just got a message, "kill Palestinians, men women and chioldren. Hmm, that's different, the voice used to say kill the president, that was starting to make sense to me...
