SkyPlus is beating TiVO
Here in the UK Sky's SkyPlus service and box is getting a better reception due to more flexibility with the channels and a strong promotion. Additionally, as the Sky+ box also acts as your standard digital TV receiver there's no need for an extra box on your entertainment system.
It costs £199 for the box and no monthly subscription as long as you have the full Sky Digital Package, and allows all the functionality of TiVO, with live tv pausing, recording, programme learning, and multiple-channel recording from your Sky box in one go. Altogether a strong package for UK viewers looking for such a service.
