This makes me so sad for both of you. What a hard stage to go through with girls. I have 2 small ones now and I guess I should adapt the Boys are Stupid mentality.

I would so not want to go back to this age. My heart breaks for her...and for you. Its hard watching our children go through things like this.

We learn not to wear our hearts on our sleeve
and it is advisable to treat every date as a potential friend and not a boyfriend. Don't have too many expectations and don't get mushy or kissy with them until their intentions are very clear and they treat Mum and Dad as well as daughter with respect.
Don't allow yourself to be used to make another girl jealous either. She will get over it but it is up to you her parents to reassure her that she is a totally loveable creature and that boy was a creep with no real style or taste in women. Who needs someone who isn't a real gentleman and isn't going to treat her as she deserves to be treated?????
