Re: Re: Human co-operation regardless of race, religion, gender,...
The trinity of "Creation, Sustanance, Destruction" co-exist in the universe. That is the whole basis of evolution. What you state, though an extremely horrible situation, is still consistent with this process of evolution, and hence is not an event of zero probability, but I would not go so far as saying that it is the only possibility (100%), and we all certainly need patiently to do our part to keep that possiblity as close to zero as possible while we all gradually evolve towards that convergence of all races, religions, etc. I truly enjoy the intellectual dialogues with you, peace,

Re: Human co-operation regardless of race, religion, gender,...
ash_pradhan - to guarantee the survival of our species, we have no choice but for all humans to co-operate. The sad truth however is that impending mutual destruction may be the only reason compelling enough to make this happen.

Human co-operation regardless of race, religion, gender,...
or any other superficial divisive factors, is noble & essential for harmonious operation of the entire creation !

mysteria - people tend to forget that when the first show appeared in 1966

it presented something never seen before;

 . . . in a multi cultural crew, formed through an alliance of co-operation amongst humans. It is little wonder that the historically most divisive barrier amongst humans in religion, was treated throughout all of the series as primitive thinking.

Soul_Builder101 - a great deal of the science in the Star Trek series was

speculative extrapolations of existing science.

The speculation being what the advanced stages of the existing science would look like in a few centuries. Holograms, teleportation and artificial gravity as examples, all are scientific realities, albeit in very primitive forms today. If there was anything to be taken from the Star Trek series, outside of entertainment, it was the ongoing theme within the shows of inter race and cross culture co-operation amongst humans.

As for the moon being colonized; does reality ever enter into the things you present as possibilities? Colonized to what end? There is no doubt that there are things going on in our planet's orbit that we do not know about but I think it is safe to say that the motivations are primarily commercial in nature. Espionage may be a minor element but only in the sense of information gathering.

Again, I would like to see something about the Sinai bible outside of a few lines written in public forums on the internet. As yet I have not seen anything to lead me to believe it is anything more than a creation of modern fiction writing.

A Vulcan Mind Meld
Star Trek was a great show and you've managed once again to make me think...

Very interesting write. It provokes further thought. Star Trek is advanced science...or pretends to be! Perhaps the real answers lay with the advanced weapons and technology that is not on mainstream media. I read where we are already colonising the moon. But, disinformation confuses the issue. Look at the number and variety of orbital crafts. Something is going on we don't know about! As for replacing the bible...I don't mind if King James has a revisionist. Thats what his edition was about. The Sinai Bible is the original and is visible at the London Museum! Soon, it will be online!
