That to me says those who celebrated your holiday understand neither true human achievement or the point of Earth Hour. I didn't celebrate ether myself.
If you truly wished toe celebrate Human achievement, then you did a piss poor job of showing your respect to what has come before and our potential for the future. This Human achievement hour was clearly a marketing ploy by a big conservative corporation, which I guess is what the Conservatives worship as the pinnacle of human achievement.
I would bet most of the greatest minds of human history would have found the concept insulting. If you want to respect our achievements, you turn it all off and grasp just where we are and what the possibilities for the future are. The idea of Earth Hour to me seems more respectful of human achievements than what you did.
