Thanks, snow. This allowed me to write and send best wishes to my
hosted grandson, from Mumbai, who hasn't communicated in awhile. I wished him his best new year beginning ever.

I think many of our Western celebrations pale by comparison to the rich traditions of the East.  This one certainly sounds wonderful….

thats interesting that water is worshipped as the elixir of life...if we
would treat our water with half that respect, we'd be doing well.....
