RSM, I am thankful I do not believe in God at times like these

I very much understand that things get better and that you have to move on with life after tragedy hits.  I’ve always understood that, better than most people I have dealt with. Right now things are falling back into place and it looks like we should be able to relax and pull ourselves together this next week.  If you really want to learn why I and my father have not been blogging here too much this last month, check out my ‘Thoughts of the Moments’ Blog.

In both of our cases it is not because we feel guilty about making the RIGHT choice for President. Why would we?  Obama was easily the better candidate, far better than McCain. In the future you might want to go and do some research to learn what is going on around you before you come to any ill-formed conclusions.  I know I never assume someone has just ‘given up’ if they suddenly are not blogging for a little while.  There are more than enough reason as to why bloggers cut back. It could just be that all is going so well that the liberals have nothing they feel needs to be said. My problem was with the arrogance of the assumptions you made in this post, when if you really wanted to know what was going on with us ‘liberals’ you could have checked out our blogs since both my father and I wrote blogs that made it clear we had much more important things we need to focus on.

While I do believe you are sincere in you sympathy to me and my father, you just seem unable to keep the arrogance that has made me hold such a lack of respect for you out of your words to me.

Re: RSM, sorry but we have lives

I have been paying as much attention as possible considering I have a family and a job to deal with not to mention the daily challenges of a handicapped daughter who depends upon her Mom and myself for every daily function and a son trying to get through the first grade, my parents with Alzheimers, my Dad with Parkinson's, my in-laws with cancer and diabetes then this whole worrying about the 37 employees that I have laid off since November, worrying about my own job after spending all of my savings three years ago when the company I was with started eliminating jobs, etc, etc. etc. You get the point. I am no stranger to life's hard times however I have no idea what has occurred in yours. I will say that I am sorry that you have hit a stretch of tough going, it happens to us all and my thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Real life always takes priority!

All of your comments here politically I completely disagree with but I do hope that your troubles clear up and they will no matter what they are, trust me, they will. Life experiences are up and down, you know that, but you will get through whatever it is, I just wish you had the Lord to give the hurt and worry to so he can handle it and be with you during these times. However, I know better than to discuss that with you so I wish the best for you and your Dad! Sorry, but may God Bless you and yours.

RSM, sorry but we have lives
I am sure my father and I am two of those you are talking about here, and both of us have had rough times recently and we've not been blogging much.

So far Obama has still been a far greater leader than Bush was.  That is very clear to anyone who does not have their head up their behind.

This was really a pathetic post and only helps to show just how spineless you really are. I mean anyone who is paying the slightest bit of attention would be aware that neither me nor my father has had a good month.  Due to real life taking priority, it seems really trivial to be trying to deal with those sad creature called republicans, who are nothing more than clueless sheep who are unable to have the smallest original thought and basically spend their lives running around in circle never once caring about anything more than their selfish desires.

I've had more than enough stress in my life this month and I just have no desire to try and deal with self-righteous a-holes like yourself who refuse to grasp logic or reasoning, ignoring all facts that they dislike and basically having no clue how to have a civilized exchange of ideas with someone they disagree with.  With life being as stressful as it has been for me, those like you who only can display mindless hate for all things that are not like them, are just not worth the effort.

Oh, and EVERYTHING you believe is 100% wrong and is part of what is destroying this country.  Just felt that simple TRUTH needed to be said here.

Re:
If you notice the absence of liberals on here blogging and listen to them on television across the nation you will notice that deep inside them they are asking themselves "What have I done?" This worthless idiot occupying the White House is now forming his own youth. Requiring all of us to do 50 and 100 hours of community service. Who in the hell does he think he is to tell me what to do in my life? It is time for him to go under whatever means necessary! I hate the S.O.B.! Hell, give me Bill Clinton again if we must have a damn worthless democrat in office! The hell with the democrat party, burn'em down!

Revolt is guaranteed by the constitution. Both sides of the political coin are guilty! Militias, I am told, have armed themselves!
