silence can be so lonely when a loved one cuts you off...the sound of nothing is deafening ... otherwise I agree with you in re: to the solitude of silence.

You know, that's why I found Blogit a perfect fit.   Nearly everyone had been there at least once and I felt kind and gentle acceptance from this bunch. I imagined it was much the same as a injured whale feels in its pod or a dolphin. The others extend their fins to keep you afloat until you get better or you die. The pings I felt were all loverly!
