Yes, I agree...there is a saying in Sanskrit that there are four stages in arguments...Saam (explain), Daam (bribe), Dund (punish), Bhedh (break). Human tendency is to rush through those stages, whreas consideration & moderation allow one to pace oneself through them. Those ancient scriptures are full of wisdom. Considering the breadth of your knowledge, you might even have already read some of them.

Thank you - Your tenure here has allowed you to miss some of the things that went on in the past. Some of the ignorance posted and endorsed by popular consensus was astounding in its complete lack of consideration and reason. Some of this drivel survives today on Blogit.
Where I agree that consideration and moderation are effective communication and learning tools, there is a point where if a person is insistent on proliferating nonsense depicting fictitious stereotypes negatively, all they deserve is a good whupping.

lack of understanding / unawareness / ignorance of another's viewpoint is a common reason for arguments...consideration & moderation are effective communication / learning tools...good job, Gome, I'm impressed !
