I loved raising my sons and sharing in their special times, but I always felt that I missed out on something special in a mother/daughter relationship that I have seen in my friends with daughters and in remembering the relationship that I had with my mother. I would never have traded in one of my sons for a daughter, but I always wished I could have had one more and that it would have been a girl.
