The bonuses are bad enough. The secret scam is the money being paid to their associates...overseas, many of whom already got bailout money!

The irresponsibility of our goverment is that we allowed AIG
to keep their bonuses in the deal. What if...now I know this is a stretch of the imagnation but What IF the goverment did not bail them out. WHAT IF AIG was treated just like any other business struggling out there and was not able to get loans to weather the economic storm - how would they meet the contract obligations then. I cannot even pay my employees their 8.50 an hour and I had a respectably profitable business until January when the bottom fell out. I am sickened, sad and emotional about this. That 170M is my money and your money and it is time for people to speak up.
