Really! No imperialism? Iraq and Afghanistan and recently Pakistan says differently!

America is NOT an imperialist nation state. WW2 pretty much ended colonialist imperialism. Technology and information has made the world MUCH smaller. Evil cannot be ignored... it will not ignore you. I think avoiding WW3 and saving millions of lives is worth the effort.

I agree too with some libertarian views but they do need to settle down and be a little more mainstream in my view. I'd have to say I'm an independent where politics is concerned. Poetry, the arts, and nature I do embrace.

Only what you volunteer. There is a lot of good in Ron Paul but I disagreed strongly with his foreign policy. Also domestically I don't think America could withstand the wholesale dismemberment of unconstitutional governance overnight. There's too much mass on the train of socialism, it has to be slowed, stopped, turned around and started again. It's the most solid and least destructive way to set upon the correct path.
