Yeuch - you make your point so tastefully, Pat.  But then the USA has Hawaii and they go together extremely well.

It could work, TAPS.  If you ever do visit Canada you might find it kinda empty.  Can you imagine only 33 million people in the second largest country in the world - that's less than the population of California.

ginnie
Do we want the rest of the world to acknowledge Canada, ginnie?  I see Canada as a nation that does not call attention to itself, and likes it that way.

I love the idea of Canada. And the Island in the Sun seems like
a fine idea here at the bitter end of winter. But I can't quite put them into a yin/yang justaposition. It's like putting brown gravy on chocolate cake. Both good, but not at once. However, since I'm not Canadian and have no vote, pay no attention... You do make your point, though, and I admire your cogent argument.

It sounds good to me (and I've never been to Canada).

Great blog Mac!
LOL!  I've heard the T and C's are phenomenal.  I'll bet the rest of the world would finally acknowledge Canada if we gave them a little sun and surf that didn't require wetsuits to enjoy!
