I'm afraid that this is a psalm that has always bothered me. No matter how much I might think of someone as being 'my enemy', I don't think that I would or could pray that God would break their teeth or pray that God would let them be like a slug which dissolves into slime. I think that this sort of thing was in the Old Testament for a reason, but Jesus teaches us to be above this type of thinking.
